In Kolkata’s government and government-aided schools, nearly all teachers and non-teaching staff members have been fully vaccinated. The school education department is also holding special camps at institutes to vaccinate over 3,000 city private school instructors and staff members, who have not yet received their second dosage.

By the weekend, the journey should be over. With speculation of educational institutes reopening after the festival season if Covid-19 levels remain low, the school education department has set a goal of fully vaccinating all of its teachers.
