Kerala Based Digital University Sign MoUs in Graphene field with UK Universities

On Wednesday, Kerala Chief University Pinarayi Vijayan’s office informed that the Digital University of Kerala (DUK) had signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with Oxford Universities, Edinburgh, Manchester and Siegen for collaboration in the field of graphene.

In the presence of Vijayan and Industries Minister P Rajeeve, the university signed the MoU in the meeting, which was held abroad. The state’s high delegation, the CM leads, is on a Europe tour for a few days.

The CM said in the meeting that Kerala state, which has opened the first Digital University in the country, has already introduced the processes to     establish an industrial park based on graphene.

Based on the new generation technologies, the state government has started making efforts noting that CM further stated, “The present MoUs were expected to strengthen further Kerala’s ability to develop cutting-edge research and a knowledge economy in the particular field of study.”
