An online postgraduate diploma course in sustainability science has been launched by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The course will be offered by the varsity’s School of Inter-Disciplinary and Trans-Disciplinary Studies (SOITS).

Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree from an identified university can apply for the postgraduate diploma course. The programme at its core, has the genesis and principles of sustainable development. The PGDSS programme has a multidisciplinary approach, which will benefit the students who wish to pursue research in the field.
