Ambition Institute of Technology, Varanasi was established by the Ambition Educational Society in the year 2009. It is affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow, U.P and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. About the Eminent Personality
Subhash Mishra, the Chairman of the institute, is an individual who has travelled far while collecting various experiences and stories. He graduated from the Mumbai University after which he worked as a “Career Agent” in LIC and became a trend setter in the insurance industry. Upon spending four decades in Mumbai, he found the opportunity to give back to the society and hence established “Ambition Institute of Technology”. Being a team leader, his visionary outlook towards education and the inclusion of innovation has brought AIT to one of the top positions in technical education in a short span of time.

Apart from being academically and technologically advanced, the university also gives students the opportunity to participate in various events. The academic activities involve convocations, seminar/workshops, guest lectures by eminent professors from the prestigious IIT-BHU and industry leaders, career development and guidance programs, orientation programs for students, course audit or review. The institute also conducts student mentoring and counseling sessions, parent teacher meets twice a year and workshops to prepare students for their examination techniques to gain top scores. Multiple workshops are conducted by various organizations which are dedicated to different subjects. For the sport lovers, in the institute, an annual Sports Day is organized as a part of the curriculum which includes games like Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabbadi, Table Tennis and multiple distance races. AIT also makes sure that every individual participates in a plethora of social events such as the blood donation camp, Swachhata Abhiyan, plantation drive and Enviroment Preservation Programs.
