All educational institutions in Assam will reopen in stages beginning next month, with physical classes in colleges, universities, and technical institutions, as well as for class nine pupils, beginning on October first. Offline sessions for pupils in grades one through eight will begin on October 19, according to a notification issued by the education department on Tuesday.

Classes will be held three days a week on alternate days for children in grades one through eight. A section cannot have more than 30 students, and hostels will not be reopened for these pupils. Classes for students in grades nine through 12 will be held on a daily basis.
