A new public health order is issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for school staff. As per the order, it is mandatory for school staff to either show proof of complete vaccination or be tested at least once per week. This policy will be applied from August 12, and schools must be in full compliance by October 15, 2021.

“To assure parents that their children are safe as schools return to full, in-person learning, we are urging all school staff to get vaccinated. Vaccinations are how we will end this pandemic,” said Governor Newsom. California state continues to lead the nation in implementing vaccination strategies.
