The Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) signed a MoU with International Baccalaureate (IB) to implement IB programs in 30 government schools this year. The program will also include 20 new Schools of Specialised Excellence (SOSE).
The IB program will be introduced from class IX to XII in SOSEs. For the remaining 10 Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, it will be from nursery to class VIII. Admissions for SOSEs will be conducted through aptitude and interest tests. These admission applications will begin from Thursday. Students of these schools will be issued joint certification by IB and Delhi Board after completing the school.
