CBSE To Adopt a Tech-Driven Curriculum

For those who are unaware, the board members of The Central Board of Secondary Education had earlier announced that it has asked the NCERT to release a new curriculum. Taking this into consideration, the board has decided to include Artificial Intelligence in the curriculum of Class 11 for the academic year 2020-2021. Apart from this, the board has also decided to include design thinking and physical activity trainer as part of the new skill-based courses.

The board members have decided to include these lessons into the curriculum to bridge the gap between the rising needs of both curricular and extra-curricular skills. The board also stated that, “the mainstream of all forms of education will include having both theoretical and soft skills needed for any particular occupation.”
