In a bid to help MBA aspirants be productive and keep learning during the ‘lockdown’ period across the nation on account of COVID-19, Eastern India’s premiere B-School, Globsyn Business School (GBS), has decided to donate 1,00,000 online seats on its e-learning platform, Globsyn Business School Online (GBS Online) and offers courses on Digital Marketing, Industry 4.0, Performance Management & Competency Mapping and Financial Markets & Investments, for all interested MBA aspirants so that they can get a chance to be productive during these challenging times. This opportunity is valid till April 30, 2020, within which MBA aspirants will need to register at https://www.globsyn.edu.in/gbso. These online courses are also offered to all other students and corporates as a part of AICTE’s National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT) platform, at a token cost of only Re.1, so that they can utilise this ‘lockdown’ period to further their education.

Rahul Dasgupta, Director & Trustee, GBS, said, “We are happy to offer our digital learning courses to all prospective MBA aspirants during this ‘lockdown’ period, so that that they can remain productive. We are also very pleased that AICTE has recognised these courses and has listed them on their NEAT platform.”

With its legacy in amalgamating technology with education and in the milieu of this gravity when ‘work from home’ is the norm of the day; GBS is making sure that learning does not stop for its students by adopting various digital platforms: GBS Online, Google Classroom and Google Meet for regular classes, Webinars for Industry Connects, Facebook Live and Instagram Live for discussions with faculty and Webex for the internal administrative team meetings, to conduct its habitual classroom and administrative operations. GBS admission processes are also on with activities like Group Discussions and Personal Interviews being regularly conducted for shortlisted students on Webex, Zoom and other videoconferencing platforms. Our summer internship interviews for corporate are also underway, using such platforms. In a nutshell, Globsyn is using its technological background to completely digitise its entire operations. The steps taken by Globsyn Business School to ensure that learning never stops and all facets of business operate unhindered, has once again reasserted the B-School’s position at the top of the learning curve.
