CHARUSAT offers an extraordinary educational environment with campus and buildings with standing ambience primarily divided into two zones, in which Technology Zone accommodates Faculties of Pharmacy, Management Studies, Applied Sciences, Computer Science and Applications, Technology and Engineering and Research Centers for Space research. On the other side, Healthcare Zone accommodates Hospital and institutes offering Medical related programs like Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Paramedical Sciences with provision for Dental and Medical Institutes.
The University is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade in the first cycle. It is also accredited with ‘A’ by the Knowledge Consortium, Government of Gujarat. The faculties of the institution have been honored by 35 prominent recognitions and awards for their extraordinary contribution towards education.
The buildings of the university are designed on ancient Indian Architecture concept, having huge courtyards for good ventilation and natural light. The lush green campus is fully landscaped with trees, shrubs and lawns. A pond in the campus serves as a recharging tank and recreation element to the students and staff. The campus also offers two playgrounds which are cosseted by the students and staff for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and handball, along with separate space for indoor games like Table tennis, carom, and chess. The interesting part of the campus infrastructure is that it offers more than 75 ICT enabled classrooms and 135 laboratories and some of the noteworthy, high-end laboratories including Pharmaceutical Processing Equipment Laboratory, Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Laboratory, , Magnetic Measurement and Magnetic Fluid Laboratories, Magnetic Fluid Research Laboratory, Data Center with Cloud Ready Environment, Environment Engineering Laboratory, CHARUSAT Sophos Information Security Laboratory and Material Testing and Characterization Laboratory and more.

About the Figure Spearheading and Leading the Revolutionary Institution
Surendra Patel, President at Charotar University of Science and Technology, is popularly known for exceptional skills in spearheading development with human face. Having dedicated more than four decades of his life in social service, Mr. Patel is academically enriched with a degree in Civil Engineering and had been Chairman of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). He has always been playing a leading role in creating any kind of revolution which helps in the development of human lives. Ahmedabad’s stellar projects like Sabarmati Riverfront, Sardar Patel Ring Road, BRTS and many others have been developed under his mentorship. He has been the founding President of CHARUSAT. Since 2000, when the seeds of CHARUSAT were sown, Mr. Patel has been providing honorary services and visionary guidance for the benefit of people.
Fusion of rural development and modern technology knowledge has been the forte of Mr. Patel. It’s under his leadership; CHARUSAT has taken many path breaking steps. CHARUSAT Rural Education Development Program for uplifting education in rural schools and CHARUSAT Space Technology & Research Center are few examples of his exemplary contributions. CHARUSAT is also known for their remarkable financial aids for needy students. The University is known to deliver scholarships amounting to INR 4 crores and financial free-ships to meritorious and needy students amounting to INR 2 crores.
