CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Lavasa, situated at the lush green serene environment of Lavasa valley, is an off-campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. It was established as an independent Management Institute in 2014 by CHRIST Trust. As a premier educational institution, it is an academic fraternity of individuals dedicated to the motto of ‘EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE’. The institution strives to reach out to the pinnacle of perfection through innovative academic endeavors, creative and empathetic involvement towards societal transformation. It is of the opinion that education prepares individuals to face the challenges of life by bringing out the best in them. The institution also believes that education should be relevant to the needs of the time and address the problems of the modern day.

The University has come into existence from the educational vision of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) priests. Inspired by the Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was proactive to deﬁne and redeﬁne its mission and strategies reading the signs of the time. The institution adopted a management philosophy of constantly revitalizing the educational and administrative concepts that are required to make quality changes in the Higher education context in India.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Lavasa has an envious state-of-the-art infrastructure to host its diverse academic programs. It has well equipped classrooms and seminar halls accompanied by a well stacked library with campus wide access to online journals. Multiple auditoriums, board rooms, amphi theatre, residence halls, eateries, coffee shops etc. ensure students have access to all academic and living facilities required for residential University programs.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa has a well-qualiﬁed faculty across academic disciplines. Students are taught by a mix of resident and eminent visiting faculty, resource persons from renowned colleges / institutes and industry experts. More than 90% of the faculty members hold a doctoral degree. Academic Programs and Selection Process

The institution oﬀers a plethora of academic programs varying from Research to Bachelors. PhD programs in the University include Economics, English, Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Management and Law both in full time and part time modes. It also grants fellowship to all full time PhD Scholars of Rs 8000/- per month. The graduate programs are M A in Business Economics and M Sc in Data Science. The Bachelor program offerings include BA-LLB (Honors), BBA-LLB (Honors) as ﬁve-year integrated law programs by the School of Law; BBA (in Business Analytics) and BCom in Financial Analytics oﬀered by the Department of Commerce and Management and B Sc program in data science.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa admits students based on their academic performance of classes X, XII, and UG degree, and MAT/CAT/MAHMBA/MMSCET/Admission Eligibility Test (AET) conducted by the institution. CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa also conducts writing skill assessment, micro presentation, personal interview for the admittance of students.
