Les Roches

Mountain Education Group (MEG) and Les Roches Business School have formed a strategic alliance to establish a network of hospitality higher education campuses in China. The partnership aims to provide world-class hospitality management education to Chinese talents. The first campus, named “Shanghai Mountain Les Roches Campus,” is scheduled to open in 2025. Les Roches, known for its expertise in hospitality education, will be responsible for curriculum development and policy implementation. MEG will handle financial investments, campus construction, and student recruitment.

The alliance plans to offer a unique educational model that integrates academic learning with practical experience. The curriculum will align with Les Roches’ Swiss campuses, combining vocational and undergraduate education. The project is divided into two design phases, with renowned architects like Pritzker Prize winners Alvaro Siza and Tadao Ando, along with Peter Zumthor, contributing to the campus design.

MEG, a prominent education group in China, already operates bilingual schools and aims to expand its offerings to the hospitality sector through this collaboration. Les Roches has a history of involvement in China, having established a presence in the country in 2003.

The move reflects China’s growing importance in the field of hospitality and tourism. With a focus on innovative and entrepreneurial education, the partnership between MEG and Les Roches aims to equip Chinese students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
