Financial Institute expands Operations and receives Accolades

The digital learning program EverFi has received the prestigious Governor’s Financial Literacy Award, 2017 for its efforts in providing financial literacy in the classroom. The program was devised by Mount Pleasant-based Educator’s Credit Union. The purpose of this program is to make the students aware about the importance of saving money, the credit facilities, financing in higher education and more.

It is any government’s highest obligation in making sure that the citizens are financially independent. Hence, they came up with this award to honor those work that increase financial literacy in the communities they serve.

Educators Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that serves to any members who live or work in Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Milwaukee, Dane, Green, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Rock, Washington or Waukesha counties. The financial institute was one among the 18 individuals, businesses and organizations to get this honor.

EverFi is so efficient that it has been adopted by citizens of all ages for satiating their individual financial knowledge and skills. Ever since its launch, EverFi has been receiving rave reviews for its innovative implementation and for demonstrating measurable results. The program has been executed through successful collaborations with partners that lay focus on almost every group possible.

The reputed financial institution was recently in the news for completing its acquisition of Parker Community Credit Union that is based in Janesville, Milton and Beloit. It has been replaced by the name of Educators Credit Union. Educators promises to operate Parker under its own brand name, but with the existing staff members. The merger procedures were initiated after the employees of Parker Pen voted for it in the August of 2017. As per a press release, the merger would further boost the reach of its overall banking network with a further expansion into Southern Wisconsin. Trade analysts have acknowledged that such mergers would give its members an improved accessibility to more products and services.

The award ceremony that would be held at the Capitol, would further strengthen the brand value of Educators Credit Union after the successful and mutually beneficial acquisition.
