The Indian Institute of Management, Indore, announced a partnership with edtech startup Jaro Education to create a certification program on Public and Corporate Leadership in a VUCA World. The IIM Indore faculty will provide the lectures. The certification program will include a mix of lectures, case studies, project work, term papers, assignments, and other activities.
The experts aim to upskill professionals and public leaders to lead in the VUCA environment, which stands for vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. The curriculum will focus on many areas of public administration from various social science fields, including psychology, political sociology, public policy, and international relations.
Applicants must be employed professionals or entrepreneurs with at least three years of experience. They must hold a diploma (10+2+3), a graduation degree, or a postgraduate degree in any subject with a minimum aggregate grade of 50%.
The training is designed to assist managers in grasping the notion of political risks and regions, their evolution in the past and future, and to give adequate tools and frameworks for managing political risks. Managers will be able to analyze political risks in diverse circumstances, predict blind spots, and take appropriate actions to recover from the crisis by the program’s conclusion.
