In Schools, CISCE Prefers First-semester Exams
CISCE

Students in classes X and XII have the choice of taking the first semester ICSE and ISC exams at school or at home, according to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations. The council, however, made it plain in a letter sent out on Wednesday that it prefers students to take the November-December assessments at school.

Each school must provide at least one invigilator for every 25 students and one buffer proctor for every 50 students. Per school, a maximum of three buffer invigilators should be appointed. The exam will be app-based and online, regardless of where it is given, and students will receive their MCQ question sheets on their smartphones to answer.
