Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) is a premier B-school, established in 1979 within the premises of Loyola College, this is the 40th year – Ruby Jubilee of LIBA.
LIBA is managed by Jesuits, of the Loyola College Society well known for their outstanding contribution to higher education. LIBA stands for Excellence and Ethics which are the hallmarks of Jesuit business education. All its programme and activities embody these two elements and focuses on forming competent and committed leaders who are ethical, principle-centred, socially responsible with a global perspective and entrepreneurial spirit.
LIBA offers primarily a two-year full-time PGDM course, approved by AICTE and recognized by AIU and has an approval to admit 180 students. LIBA as a B-School of national repute attracts applications from across the country.
Eligibility criteria: consistent academic performance of 60% and above in Xth, XIIth and an AIU recognised Degree with a history of not more than two arrears. CAT 2018/XAT 2019 registered ID is a pre-requisite to apply for LIBA. The eligible applicants have to create a login in https://admissions.liba.edu/ .
The Admission process: After creation of login id applicants have to provide information about their academic and work experience credentials, upload the proof of certificates in the portal and complete the application process by paying Rs.1,500/- on line.
The applicants are shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT cut-off for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The shortlisted candidates are given an option to present themselves in six centres namely Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.
LIBA provides 100% placements with the average package being 9.5 lakhs and the maximum package was 17 lakhs per annum last year.
