A show that inspired design, highlighted creativity focusing on sustainability and philanthropy. The occasion was a dazzling collection showcased by graduating batch of fashion design students of Manipal University Jaipur.
More than 20 designers presented their work on stage which highlighted their learning achieved in 4 years of the programme. The event brought together, designers of all skills who competed for two categories: best collection and most practical design.
The flawless charge of students effort was graced by Ms Nitya, Mr. Dara Singh Khurana and Mr. Dushyant Katewa as the showstopper.
An evening of creativity was ornated by the presence of her highness Diya Kumari as chief guest and Chavi Rajawat and Rohit Kamra as the guest of Honour.
Department of Fashion Design, Manipal University Jaipur organized a workshop on “Button Masala” This workshop was conducted by an Indian International Designer Mr. Anuj Sharma who has conducted many national and International workshops on “Button Masala”. Students learned the concept and techniques of making garments using buttons and different joiners without cutting the fabric. Students enjoyed the workshop and came up with innovative explorations by using the techniques demonstrated by designer Anuj Sharma.
