Mizoram to Reopen More than 300 Schools
Mizoram

The Mizoram state government has allowed to reopen more than 300 schools in Covid-19 free areas. Most of these schools are in the rural and remote areas, where internet connection is very poor. Students in these regions were unable to access the internet due to connectivity problems. Hence, this decision will help them to continue their education.

Director of School Education Department, James Lalrinchhana said, “Around 376 schools in seven districts have been allowed to reopen for the academic session 2021-2022. The School Education department is currently undertaking identification of schools in Covid-19 free areas and more schools will be reopened in the upcoming days.”
