The United States Mission in India has approved over 55,000 visas for Indian students and exchange visitors despite the pandemic. This is the highest number of visas approved ever before. The US Embassy and Consulates increased the time for visa appointments and made every possible effort to help the students get their visas.
Ambassador Atul Keshap said, “Studying in the US was a unique experience for Indian students. Indian students also enrich the US society, achieve high levels of academic success, and deepen the bonds of friendship between both countries.”
