- Stresses the Importance of Technological Developments and Encouraging Innovations
- Students Should Continually Learn and adapt to emerging technologies
Technical education is the force behind progress in today’s rapidly changing world, said Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati while addressing the 11th convocation of BPUT. He said to be adaptable and bring innovation into the field of technology.
Kambhampati observed the great heights attained by India on semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, and space research and discussed several outstanding success missions under Chandrayaan, Gaganyaan, and Aditya-L1. “The government will focus on being self-reliant through its entrepreneurship initiatives to achieve ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’,” he further added.
The Governor appreciated BPUT for embracing the National Education Policy 2020 focused on more frictionless industry and academic interaction to conduct research, skill development, and employability. Addressing the graduating students, the Governor advised them to learn resilience, innovation, and social responsibility in the efforts through which they would contribute towards the technological and economic developments of India.
Kambhampati believed that technical education is the thing for people and countries to fight over instead of standing at the backburner of fulfilling the expectation in this world. He keeps inspiring his students to keep questioning themselves, therefore coming out to be in top gear with newer technologies, which would not bring them loss within such an international setting.
It was a clarion call for students, teachers, and policymakers to get technical education on board and make an ecosystem that encourages innovation and produces skilled professionals to push India in the 21st century.
