One of the twenty contenders for the WA Education Awards is a Greenfields school.
The only school in the Peel region to get recognition for excellence in leadership, instruction, cultural sensitivity, and disability inclusion is Greenfields Primary School.
This primary school is competing for the excellence in teaching and learning award against four other schools.
Tony Buti, the minister of education, commended the personnel for their devotion to achieving high standards in education.
He remarked, “These staff members are outstanding examples of dedicated education professionals who improve the lives of young people and assist students in realizing their potential.”
“This year’s nominations were exceptionally high caliber, indicating the excellent education West Australian students receive.”
The winners, who will get $20,000 to support a project or program of the school’s choosing, will be revealed in December.
The Western Australian public schools’ accomplishments are honored at the WA Education Awards. This year, there are five award categories to honor excellence in disability and inclusion, cultural responsiveness, leadership, and teaching and learning.
There will be four finalists chosen for every category. Now, finalist schools receive $5,000 apiece to support a project or program, and winning schools receive $20,000.
