Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh, Principal, Sagar Institute of Science, Technology & Research (SISTec-R) has been awarded with ‘Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puruskar 2018’ by Centre for Education Growth and Research.  The award was presented by Mr. Kamal Singh, Executive Director, United Nations Global Compact, Prof. A.P. Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE, Ms. Shazia Ilmi, Vice President, BJP Delhi State during the Fourth Higher Education Summit in New Delhi. Centre for Education Growth and Research advocates for quality education, workshop and research related to education skill development, women empowerment and other allied issues. The award was presented to Dr Jyoti Deshmukh for correcting sectoral and social imbalances, reinvigorating institutions, crossing international benchmarks of excellence and extending the frontiers of knowledge.
