The School Education Department of Telangana issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the reopening of schools. According to the SOP, it is mandatory to wear masks for all the students as well as teachers. The schools are strictly instructed not to permit group works.

Also sharing of items like pens, pencils, books have been prohibited to minimize the chances of Covid-19. If any child is found to have Covid symptoms, it is mandatory to take the child to the nearest primary health care centre for a Covid test. Managements are directed to maintain physical distancing in the classrooms.
