Nagapattinam, 20th July 2019: On behalf of SEESHA non-profit organisation, its Founder Dr. Paul Dhinakaran handed-over 22 newly-constructed houses to families affected by Gaja cyclone at Thopaditheru, Nagapattinam district. During the month of November last year, Thopaditheru hamlet was severely damaged by the Gaja cyclone. Under the guidance of Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, SEESHA provided immediate relief assistance earlier, by distributing relief kits comprising food supplies for a month, school kits, new clothes and conducted medical camps at various places affected by the Gaja cyclone.
Dr. Paul Dhinakaran inaugurated SEESHA’s free medical camp on 23rd December last year, and provided various welfare assistance to families affected by the cyclone. During the event, he assured the people that their damaged houses will be replaced by free concrete houses with good water and sanitation facilities through his non-profit organisation – SEESHA. As assured, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran presented 22 newly-built houses to beneficiaries from the village, at an event organized at Thopaditheru today.
Saplings were also planted before every house. Apart from construction of houses, water facilities were established, road was newly laid in the village and the lighting facility was installed. Mrs. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran presented household utensils for all the 22 families and encouraged women to be bold to face challenges. Bro. Samuel Paul Dhinakaran, Dr. Shilpa, Ms. Stella Ramola also participated in the event. They gave the keys to the beneficiaries and also planted saplings in front of each newly constructed house.
The people of the village expressed their gratitude with tears and they thanked Bro. Paul Dhinakaran for this great philanthropy.

dignitaries.
