All teachers and school staff in Washington state will need to be fully vaccinated. Governor Jay Inslee, announced a new policy on Wednesday, requiring all school personnel including school bus drivers, coaches, and volunteers to be fully vaccinated by October 18.

The state has already announced a mask mandate inside the school. There is no option to select regular testing instead of vaccination. The vaccine mandates have been hotly debated across the country. Mr. Inslee said, “We are well past the point where testing is enough to keep people protected. We have tried it. It has not been sufficient for the task at hand.”
