Education Crisis

The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday said that the world is suffering from an education crisis. In his tweet, he said, “156 million students are still affected by school closures due to COVID-19 and 25 million may never return.”

He further added that an effective pandemic recovery process is crucial for improvement of the educational sector. It requires investment in teachers, digital learning, and systems fit for the future. The pandemic has shifted the traditional educational process to online learning.
