The Jammu and Kashmir State Executive Committee continued the closure of schools and higher education institutions till further orders. The committee said that there would be no weekend curfews, but night curfews will remain same from 8 pm to 7 am.

However, educational institutes are allowed to seek personal attendance of limited vaccinated staff for administrative purposes. The committee also restricted the number of guests attending the functions to 25, whether it is indoor or outdoor. As per the report, there is improvement in the COVID-19 situation in many districts, compared with previous weeks.
