The institute is under the exemplary leadership of dynamic duos i.e. the Chairman of CAIMS, Sri. C. Lakshmi Narasimha Rao and Director, Dr. V. Suryanarayana Reddy.

Sri. C. Lakshmi Narasimha Rao holds an Engineering degree in Industrial and Production from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an MBA from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Prior to being the Chairman, he previously held the position of Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Private Medical and Dental Colleges Management Association. Sri Rao has been working relentlessly for the upliftment of poor patients and has been serving extraordinarily in the detection of cervical cancer by organizing innumerable camps and establishing well-equipped cancer hospitals for the same.

Being trained nationally and internationally in various aspects of surgery and laparoscopy, Dr. V. Suryanarayana Reddy is instrumental in commencing MS courses in the discipline of surgery at CAIMS. Completing pioneering work in General Surgery, Dr. Reddy has published many articles in national and international journals. Moreover, he is also the member of Secretary of Institute Ethics Committee, CAIMS.

About the Curriculum

Academic programs offered at CAIMS are interdisciplinary alongside relevant to national and global requirements. Integrated with outreach components and value-based education, these programs expand beyond the syllabus, facilitating all-around personality development. Further, the training programs in research methodology enhance the research skills of all learners. CAIMS provides undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in a thorough-designed campus spread across 35 acres of land with all ultramodern facilities.

For postgraduate courses, students can pursue MD in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Dermatology, TB&CD, Anaesthesiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Biochemistry, Pathology, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. And for MS, students can continue in General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Orthopaedics.

Under Super Specialty Courses, CAIMS offers DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Urology.
