Odisha to reopen primary school from 3rd January

The government of Odisha on Tuesday announced that offline classes for students would resume for classes 1 to 5 from 3rd January 2022. School and Mass Education minister S R Dash made this announcement as per the directions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Odisha government is planning to resume 27,000 schools in the state starting from January 3, 2022. However, the online mode of teaching will continue and the students with consultation from their parents or guardians can attend offline classes.

On the other hand, the summative exam for class 10 students has been scheduled for January 10, 2022. The summative exams will be offline and the on-campus classes will resume from the same day as well.
