About the Leader
Dr. R.Mary Metilda is the Professor and Head of Department of Management Studies. She has more than 18 years of rich experience in industry as well as academia. She holds an Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication, MBA specialized in Marketing and Ph.D. in the area of Marketing in specific Retail Supply Chain. Dr. Metilda has vast experience in research and has presented more than 70 papers in International and National conferences. She is Ph.D. guide at Anna University and Bharathiar University where two scholars are awarded with the degree under her guidance. Dr. Metilda has received the ‘Outstanding Women in Management’ by Venus International Foundation for the year 2017. She received the ‘Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Gold Medal Award’ from GEPRA for the Year 2016 and the ‘Best Management Faculty Award’ from Coimbatore Management Association for the Year 2014.

The institute is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. It is an autonomous institution, which is permanently affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The semester pattern lays emphasis on experiential learning, industry oriented curriculum, dual specialization, value added programs, application oriented curriculum, industry immersion through real-time projects. Specialization is available in marketing, finance, human resource, operations, systems, banking management, retail management, and logistics.
Unique Endeavors of SREC
SREC conducts various intensive training to develop the professional skills of the students. The international visits are also arranged, especially to enhance and enrich the global exposure for the students. The management meet, corporate in-house training, visiting faculty sessions by prominent Corporate Executives, Placement and Training sessions, via Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Corporate Resource Cell; are also conducted to enhance the networking with peers of other institutions.
