According to the IIT- Delhi’s new Director, Rangan Banerjee, the renowned Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Delhi is set to revamp all the courses’ curriculum after a decade completely.
With one of the eminent news channels, Banerjee said the knowledge and technology space is changing rapidly; however, the curriculum has to counter the pace.
In order to cater the advanced technological education, IIT-Delhi has assembled a panel for the curriculum review for all courses served in the institute.
Banerjee said, “from being engineering institutions to becoming full-fledged universities, IITs have evolved over the years.”
While continuing his conversation, he further noted, “We are going through a complete review of our curriculum to enhance the student experience. The exercise is conducted after over a decade. Over the last several years, IITs have moved from predominantly undergraduate and engineering institutions to full-fledged universities offering a wide range of courses.”
