To honour the Tokyo Olympic medallist Ravi Dahiya, the Delhi government renamed the Rajkiya Bal Vidyalaya to Ravi Dahiya Bal Vidyalaya. Ravi Dahiya is an alumnus of this school.

Manish Sisodiya, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi felicitated wrestler Ravi Dahiya on Tuesday. During the felicitation, Manish Sisodiya said, “Through his hard work, a student of Delhi government school has now become a youth icon for the nation”.

Ravi Dahiya recently won a silver medal in men’s 57 kg freestyle wrestling in Tokyo Olympic. He is the fifth Indian wrestler to win the medal in Olympic.
