As schools in Odisha reopen for Classes 8 and 11, over 18 months after the outbreak, the state government has produced Covid-19 safety recommendations.

Teachers and the School Management Committee will meet from October 17 to 24 to organise the resumption of physical education sessions for Class 8 pupils on October 25.

Beginning on October 17, schools will be cleaned and sanitised. A day before school starts, the headmasters of the individual schools will submit a thorough report to the DEO on the cleaning operations.
