The year was 2007 when the combined vision of the then Chief Minister of Gujarat and the present Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Mukesh Ambani came collectively to lay the foundation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU). PDPU was established by Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) as a Private University through a State Act enacted on 4th April 2007.
The University intends to broaden the opportunities for students and professionals to strengthen core subject knowledge accompanied by leadership training interventions, thereby facilitating the students to imprint a mark in the global arena.
With the aforementioned aim, PDPU offers programs to address the demand for trained human resources in the domains of Science, Technology, Management, and Humanities at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral levels. Its objective further entails a number of specialized and well-planned programs alongside intensive research projects.

Student Life at PDPU
