Students of Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec), Gandhi Nagar, have bagged the First prize in 21st Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) Student’s Convention 2019 Working Model Competition. The competition was held at L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad in which over 9000 students participated from pan India. Model based on concept of producing fuel through waste and plastics created by SISTec’s Mohammad Faiz Khan and Hisham Ali was accorded with the first prize in the category of Environmental Engineering for offering a solution with their project. Faiz and Hisham are perusing mechanical engineering and are mentored by HOD, Mechanical Department, Prof. Ravishanker V Choudhri.
