About the Director
Helming affair at SRM IHM as its Director is none other than Dr. D. Antony Ashok Kumar. He has a prolific, academic, and professional exposure. Amidst his various graduations and post graduations, he pursued his Ph.D. and his specialization in Doctorate in, “Study of Human Resource Development of an Oligopoly firm in Hotels, Tourism and Travel Industry with special reference to ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING” in Taj Group of Hotels. The doctorate conferred on him is The First Ph.D. in India pertaining to the hospitality industry from the University of Madras.
Presently, he holds multi-dimensional responsibilities of being the Director and Principal for SRM IHM and Executive Director, SRM Hotels Pvt. Ltd. He has traveled worldwide and has attained experience through numerous hotels both nationally and internationally.
He has presented many papers and has received many outstanding accolades. During his tenure as the Director of SRM IHM, he has received many exceptional distinctions and the alumni of the college are placed in leading roles in various reputed places, which serves as the witness of his great achievements.
