Digital Farming has changed the mundane image of Agriculture forever. It’s not the fieldwork of village farmers anymore. Numerous technologies have been invented throughout the recent years to redefine the global Agriculture sector. With this changing scenario, many career opportunities have also been popped up. Most of the careers are related to science or business.

The field of Agricultural science studies includes the natural and social sciences, economics, engineering and management of biological systems to practice, develop and understand the fields of agriculture and forestry. Apart from this, Agricultural Science uses the fundamentals of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and statistics to bring solutions to the agriculture and food industry.

There are a numerous career opportunities in the sector for Agriculture Science graduates. Major domains include agribusiness, R&D organizations, public and private agencies, government and policy making agencies, and private consultation companies. Some of the major Scientific (R&D) career options within Agricultural Science are: Food Science, Plant Science, Soil Science, and Animal Science.

Non-scientific roles such as marketing, technical sales, merchandising, economists, accountants, finance managers, commodity traders, and communication & education (social services) can also be proved as brighter career opportunities.
